COVID 19 -LOCKDOWN UPDATE 24/03/20
Following the Prime Ministers announcement of an effective minimum three week lockdown we must advise that we are now unable to attend valuations, viewings, property inspections etc.
In light of the legally enforceable restrictions we now need to run our office on a remote basis with contact numbers available for each department. Please note that the office will be physically closed until further notice and access cannot be allowed as no staff will be present. Our role will now be to ensure that an effective Property Management service can still operate (with rent paid across to our Landlord Clients) and that sales currently agreed can be monitored through to a successful completion.
The actions outlined above will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and any changes will be posted on our website and Facebook with direct emails sent to our Clients, purchasers and tenants.
We are advised that property viewings fall outside the list of permitted activity and members of the public cannot therefore visit the homes we have For Sale or To Let. Property repairs may prove difficult to arrange if tradespeople are in lockdown and this will apply to rented property just as it would for owner-occupiers.
Please bear with us as we try to provide a viable service through these unprecedented times but our options and capabilities are massively impacted by the new rules designed, quite rightly, to save lives.
