2015 MacMillan Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning

It’s time for the staff of Martin Maslins to dust off their recipe books as the MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning fast approaches. On the 25th September offices, schools and other establishments up and down the country will be swapping pen and paper for tea and cakes to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

The partners and staff at Martin Maslin Estate Agents will be hosting a coffee morning for the second successive year after the staggering success of last year’s event when they raised £800! Dan Holland, Sales Manager at Martin Maslins was quick to praise both his colleagues and those who attended. “Last year’s total was incredible and far more than I ever imagined we would raise and this of course wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of all my colleagues. All staff contributed whether it was their time, their baking skills or a combination of the two. Then of course there is the generosity of those who attended, everyone really got into the spirit of it, entering all the games, buying the cakes and biscuits and generally just contributing to this great cause.”

This year’s coffee morning promises to be more of the same with a number of fun activities planned as well as the obligatory raffle and of course the host of delicious cakes and biscuits baked by the Martin Maslin staff. Joint organiser and Partner, Lynn Hudson is looking forward to the event “I love baking and when it is for such a good cause there is that extra incentive to do a good job, we have got our work cut out to match last year’s phenomenal total but we are determined to give it our best shot.” Lynn was also quick to invite anyone reading this “everyone loves a cup of tea and a bit of cake so please come and join us at our Abbey Walk offices on Friday 25th September between 9.30am and 12.30pm.”

If you would like any further information on the event please feel free to call Dan or Lynn on 01472 311000.
